Overview of Services

Career Services offers many programs and services to assist students of all majors and classifications at various stages of the career development process.

Career Guidance

We provide individual career counseling sessions for students of all majors and classifications. In general, career counseling aids students in making career-related decisions such as choosing a major or career, assistance with the job search, resume review, interview preparation, industry specific advising, the graduate school application process, internships, networking or career fair preparation.

One of the resource we offer is What Can I Do With This Major? Encourage your students to visit this site to learn more about majors and careers and to find links to valuable career-related websites.

Career Fairs

Career Services hosts a number of career fairs and forums each semester to expose students to various industries, employers and opportunities.

Mock Interviews

Students can practice interviewing and get constructive feedback from staff members and employers. Employer mock interviews are held twice a semester and students can sign up through calling or coming by our office. Mock interviews with career counselors take place year round by appointment.

HireBronchos is an online database linking students to on-campus interviews, internship and job opportunities, and more. By registering, students can upload resumes and cover letters, submit applications, sign up for on-campus interviews, and view dates for employer information sessions and employers attending career fairs and forums.
