  • Major Quest Discover Your Major fair is scheduled annually to provide information about majors in the academic, industry, and career standpoint and the opportunity to declare or change to a major that aligns best with their career goals. Academic advisors, academic departments, and alumni in various professions gather in one location to provide a convenient and efficient opportunity to explore the myriad of majors available at UCO which gives more comprehensive advisement regarding degrees and majors. Career Quest is FREE and open to all UCO students. Reservations are not required.
  • Career Chats are scheduled monthly as a seminar series designed to fine-tune job-search competencies and help prepare candidates for internships, full-time employment, and/or graduate/professional school. OKC Metro employers/organizations present on topics such as Resumes, Choosing a Major, Interviewing, Networking, Graduate & Professional Schools, Internships, and Soft Skills. Career Chats seminars are FREE and open to all UCO students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Reservations are not required.
  • Mock Interview Days are scheduled four times per academic year to improve interviewing skills: the single most important part of getting a job.  Fifteen individual interview sessions in one day are arranged with an OKC Metro company's Human Resources Professional and UCO Career Counselor to gain feedback and knowledge about what employers look for during an interview.  Twenty-minute interview sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays followed by thirty-minute feedback sessions on Thursdays during the same time slot.  Mock interview days are FREE and open to all UCO students and alumni.  Reservations are required.
  • Dining Etiquette & The Business Interview Seminar is scheduled annually to provide helpful dining tips that will assist in making an outstanding impression during a meal with any employer or date. It is a fun and interactive way to develop life-long useful etiquette skills that will impress friends and employers! Etiquette seminars are open to all UCO students, alumni, faculty, and staff. A nominal fee per person is charged to cover the cost of the four-course meal. Reservations are required.
