Career Fairs

The following Career Fairs provide students and alumni an opportunity to network and/or interview with potential employers. Fairs are FREE for UCO students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the public and no reservations are necessary.

Volunteer & Part-Time Job Fair

Date: 8/21/2018

Time/Location: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM, UCO Broncho Lake

Description:

The University of Central Oklahoma's Career Development Center is pairing up with the Volunteer and Service Learning Center to host the 2018 Volunteer & Part Time Job Fair taking place during Stampede Week on the UCO Campus. The Fair will take place in the heart of campus around Broncho Lake from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday  August 21, 2018.  Over 70 employers and volunteer organizations attend this event advertising volunteer or part-time work opportunities.

Accounting Career Fair

Date: 9/6/2018

Time/Location: 2:00 PM-4:00 PM, UCO Ballroom A

Description:

The College of Business at the University of Central Oklahoma is partnering with the Career Development Center to host an Accounting Career Fair for students seeking full-time employment and internship opportunities in the field of accounting.  This event will be located in Ballroom A located on the third floor of the Nigh University Center (NUC) on September 6th, 2018 from 2:00p.m.- 4:00 pm. The fair is designed to be a more intimate event for recruitment in order to provide networking opportunities for students and employers in the accounting industry to meet. 

Professional attire is required for entry.  Please bring multiple copies of your resume.


Fall Career & Internship Fair

Time/Location: 12:00 PM-3:30 PM, UCO Nigh University Ballrooms

Description:

The University of Central Oklahoma Career Development Center will host its 2018 Fall Career & Internship Fair, Tuesday, September 25, 2018, 12:00 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. in the Nigh University Center Grand Ballroom on the UCO campus. Many local and national organizations will be at the event to discuss full-time employment, internship, and graduate school opportunities. 

Professional attire is required for entry. Please bring several copies of your resume. Access to the event is free for students and alumni, students should bring their student ID. 

Health & Life Sciences Career Fair

Date: 11/6/2018

Time/Location: 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, UCO Nigh University Ballrooms

Description:

The University of Central Oklahoma’s Health Professions Office, the Department of Biology, and the Career Development Center are hosting our annual Health and Life Sciences Career Fair, which is scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Ballrooms in the Nigh Student Center on the university campus. This year’s event will be a larger event and will replace the Health Professions Fair usually held in January. 
 
Representatives from graduate and professional programs, government agencies and local businesses will be in attendance. 

 


Spring Career & Internship Fair

Time/Location: 12:00 PM-3:30 PM, UCO Nigh University Ballrooms
Description:

The University of Central Oklahoma Career Development Center will host its 2018 Fall Career & Internship Fair, February 6, 2019 from 12:00 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. in the Nigh University Center Grand Ballroom on the UCO campus. This fair is for organizations wishing to recruit for full-time, part-time, and internship employment as well as graduate school opportunities.

Professional attire is required for entry. Please bring several copies of your resume. Access to the event is free for students and alumni, students should bring their student ID. 


Education Roundtable

Date: 3/14/2019
Time/Location: 9:30 AM-11:30 AM, UCO Nigh University Ballrooms
Description:

The Education Roundtable is an event for students to meet and sit with representatives from schools to learn about what positions that school or district is hiring for and meet potential employers in an intimate and comfortable setting. This is a come and go event. 

Although we will have the same number of employers, this is not your typical fair. Round tables will be set up to encourage students and employers to engage in meaningful conversation.
